Why do you practice?
Yoga, as an intense dedication towards productive inner reflection or self-discovery via conscious movement or otherwise, is the invisible string that knits together all aspects of my life; through my practice I become more aware of my body, mind, and spirit, which allows me to be more fluid in each endeavour I embark upon. It Is a way of life I wouldn’t be completely “whole” without; providing a dynamic and ever-evolving platform upon which I can perfectly balance my lifelong dreams, desires, and goals. Yoga fuels my soul <3

Why you teach?
Yoga can create beautiful, flourishing communities and expand the conscious experience of those who attend or practice regularly. It has helped bring me to realize my truest self, my deepest passions, my highest potential, and —beyond the self— has taught me about the infinite web of “being” that unites us all. My goal in teaching is to help facilitate spaces where others may also come to realize similar intricacies within themselves, and to celebrate with those who already have access to such exciting and radical realms.

Your current greatest teacher(s)?
Nature, my immediate surroundings/environment, and things I’m passionate about —such as science, philosophy, and history— will always be my greatest teachers.

If you could travel back in time + tell yourself anything as a beginner yogi, what would it be?
I don’t think I would say much to my past self. I still feel incredibly aligned with her and am very grateful for the experiences I have had as a yoga facilitator/coordinator; I believe I needed to experience them as such to get to where I am today.

Other than yoga, what is part of your self-care routine that is non negotiable?
Education, adventure, and creative exploration! I thrive most when challenging myself physically and mentally; always trying new things, getting lots of exercise, taking on lots of projects with friends and family, and indulging in the many hobbies or skill sets i've come to adore.
